Cacao Chia Seed Pudding
Having breakfast ready to go in the morning is the best way to get all of the needed nutrients in with very little effort. To make it even better, who wouldn’t want chocolate for breakfast? This chia seed pudding is a satisfying go-to breakfast.
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 scoop protein powder optional
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey optional
Add the chia seeds, cacao powder, and optional add-ins into a bowl.
Add half of the almond milk and whisk well until everything is combined. Let sit for a few minutes and then whisk in the rest of the almond milk.
Let sit for 10 minutes before placing in the refrigerator for 1 hour or overnight.
Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
