Chocolate Milkshake Smoothie

Is it a chocolate milkshake or breakfast approved? It sure tastes like a big bowl of ice cream, but this Chocolate Milkshake Smoothie (or smoothie bowl) will fuel you for the day.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate collagen
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup frozen avocado
  • 1 cup frozen zucchini
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup frozen sweet potato
  • 1-2 dates or 1/2 frozen banana optional for added sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients into a high powered blender (I love my Vitamix!) and blend until you achieve your desired consistency. I prefer a thick smoothie bowl that I can eat with a spoon, but you can add additional almond milk if you like to drink your smoothie with a straw instead. This is your smoothie, start the day the way you like to!
