Beer Bread
Beer bread is starting to be on tables all over the country, and I am so glad because it would be sad for anyone to miss out on the best bread ever (in my opinion). With only 6 simple ingredients, you can whip this bread up any time.
Prep Time 10 mins
Cook Time 1 hr
Course Appetizer, Main Course
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 12 oz bottle or can of beer
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp butter melted
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Grease 9x5 loaf pan with butter.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Pour the beer into the dry ingredients. It will fizz, and this is normal. Mix until everything is just combined, do not over mix.
Pour the dough into your prepared loaf pan, and pour the melted butter on the top.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the beer bread cool before slicing and serving.
