A family favorite that is on the table for every birthday, holiday, or special occasion, these caramel rolls are a mix between your traditional caramel roll and monkey bread. They are also a perfect recipe when you need to have something that doesn’t take a lot of effort.
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bread loafs or biscuits, thawed
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 box cook and serve vanilla pudding
- 1 box cook and serve butterscotch pudding
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a large Bundt pan or 9x13 pan with butter.
- Tear apart one loaf of bread dough into small balls and place at the bottom of the pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, boxes of pudding, milk and cinnamon. Mix everything until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the caramel sauce over the top of the dough.
- Tear apart the second loaf of bread doubt into small balls and spread them evenly on top of the caramel sauce.
- Place the pan in a warm place, cover with a towel and let the dough rise for 30 minutes-1 hour.
- Bake the caramel rolls for 30 minutes until the dough is fully cooked and the top starts to turn lightly golden. If you are using a Bundt pan, flip the pan onto a serving platter. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and serve.
Enjoy!
