Beer bread is starting to be on tables all over the country, and I am so glad because it would be sad for anyone to miss out on the best bread ever (in my opinion). With only 6 simple ingredients, you can whip this bread up any time.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 12oz bottle/can of beer (any kind will work and the alcohol cooks out)
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Grease 9x5 loaf pan with butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour the beer into the dry ingredients. It will fizz, and this is normal. Mix until everything is just combined, do not over mix.
- Pour the dough into your prepared loaf pan, and pour the melted butter on the top.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the beer bread cool before slicing and serving.
Enjoy!
